15 WhatsApp Message Templates for Business (Copy & Paste)

April 15, 2026· 4 min read

Writing the same WhatsApp message from scratch every day is a waste of time — and inconsistent messages look unprofessional. Templates fix both problems. Below are 15 ready-to-use WhatsApp message templates for common business situations, already structured with bold and lists so they are easy to skim.

Copy a template, swap in your details, and send. To keep the formatting correct (and save the templates you use most), draft them in the MD2WA editor.

How to use these: Replace anything in [brackets]. The *asterisks* make text bold in WhatsApp; leave them in. For why formatting sometimes breaks when pasted, see Markdown vs WhatsApp Formatting.

Make templates reusable

Typing these by hand every time defeats the purpose. In MD2WA you can save your most-used messages as templates, format them visually, and copy clean WhatsApp text in one click. For the formatting principles behind these (why one bold detail beats five), see How to Format WhatsApp Business Messages That Get Read. And before a big broadcast, check length with the Character Counter so you stay under the 4,096-character limit.

Frequently asked questions

Will the bold asterisks show up as text? Only if you use the wrong number. WhatsApp bold is a single asterisk: *text*. If you paste from a doc and see **text**, convert it in MD2WA.

Can I use these in WhatsApp Business broadcasts? Yes — the same syntax works. For the official API, follow WhatsApp's template approval rules.

Should every message have emoji? No. One or two as signposts help; more starts to look like spam.
